I didn't have the feeling I served that many aces but I did know I served extremely well, especially in the first 3 sets. In the third set, I was already struggling with the heat and it was difficult for me to run on the court. In the first two sets, I felt I was playing better than him (winning more rally points) and I do believe that if I maintained my physical strength throughout the whole match, I would have won. I am taller than everyone else on tour, and heavier than everyone else on tour. I consume a lot more energy than any player on tour, that's why it is a disadvantage for me to play long matches in five sets. But serving 55 aces and making the record is something to be remembered and I am happy about that. Especially making the record on clay.
